Replace your old trunk lid prop with this new self-triggering version! You will love needing only one hand to operate your trunk lid. Ever take anything out of an MG trunk? With the factory prop, you have to set your parcel on the ground while you use both hands to shut the trunk lid. Never again face this annoyance. Just lift slightly and the prop automatically collapses. This prop also reduces the possibility of your trunk lid being ruined by someone trying to force it shut against the rigid factory prop. Looks like original equipment and installs easily to existing mounting brackets. Fits all MG's with factory equipped telescoping prop rods; approx. 1971 through 1980.
